Most of the maintenance cost for online Blackjack is for computers and networks.  A casino has to maintain the facility, staff, entertainment, and alcohol. With all of the costs associated with running a casino, they cannot afford to loss to players as often. Perhaps a better argument is that both online Blackjack and casino Blackjack use a randomized method of playing the cards. A specific number of decks are used, so when a card is played, there will be one fewer of that card in the dealer’s deck, regardless of it being online or in a casino.
